Brite Idea: God can do anything!

Memory Verse: Matthew 19:26 ESV But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

God can do anything—He is all-powerful and His power is always at work. God uses His power to reveal Himself to people. God doesn’t promise things will be easy, but He does promise to be with us. God can work through hard situations to bring us closer to Him.

Discipleship Conversation Starters:

1. Share a time God helped you be brave when you were afraid. Share a time God helped your heart feel better when you were sad.
2. What's God's power? How do you get it? Why do we need it?
3. How did God's power help you be brave and feel better? What are you struggling with today where you need God's power? Would you rather rely on God's strength or yours? Why?
