It's not too late to return your baby bottles for the Pregnancy Care Center. They asked that we fill those bottles up with change, dollars, or even checks supporting the PCC's work to help abortion-minded women choose life. If you still have yours, you can bring it to the church this Sunday.
As part of the PCC's plan to be available to women all over Staten Island, they are using churches for their counseling appointments. Bethel will be a part of that church network. To be as welcoming as possible for these ladies, we need to purchase a couple of chairs, a small end table, and new blinds. If you would like to donate to this, you can give to the missions fund during the month of June.
Also, the PCC is hosting a rummage sale on Saturday, July 23 from 9 AM - 3 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church. You may dropoff any gently used toys, clothing, housewares for the sale on Friday, July 22 from 10 AM - 5 PM. Please no books or furniture.
The PCC is looking for two part-time workers: an outreach coordinator and a social media staffer. If you are interested, please reply to this email for more information on connecting with the PCC.
