1 Kings 11-12

Sin has consequences. Sometimes, sin's consequences are swift and immediate. Other times, the consequences are long-lasting. In 1 Kings 11-12, we see consequences for Solomon's sins that are long-lasting. His sin leads to God's judgment for Israel & splits the kingdom in two. The rest of Israel's history is forever changed as a result of Solomon's sin.
