In the midst of Russia's attack on Ukraine, we hurt for the people of Ukraine as they are forced to flee their homes while many remain to defend their country. This attack has created a humanitarian crisis not seen since World War II.

We are thankful for the work of many organizations and volunteers who serve to meet the needs of the people. While many organizations are worthy of support, Bethel has chosen to support two organizatons that represent Christ as they meet these needs.

  • Samaritan's Purse has a history of responding when crisis comes. Even now, their Emergency Field Hospital arrived in Poland and is being sent into Ukraine.
  • ReachGlobal Crisis Response is the missions arm of the Evangelical Free Church of America. Bethel is a church that is a part of the EFCA. ReachGlobal has missionaries and church planters who have been working in Ukraine and are now assisting with providing care for refugees.

To provide assistance for these two organizations, Bethel will forward all donations designated for Ukraine and match up to $2,000 of those donations through March 20, 2022. All the money collected will go directly to Samaritan's Purse and ReachGlobal. Because of the expenses by each ministry, 90% of all giving will go to Samaritan's Purse and 10% will go to ReachGlobal.

You will find links to each of these organizations below so that you know more about each organization. On their website, Samaritan's Purse posted several updates on their progress.

To give to Bethel with matching funds up to $2k:

Please be sure to select "Ukraine" from the drop down list.

As of March 17, we stil have approximately $750 matching funds available.

Thank you for your financial gift to support Ukraine humanitarian relief efforts as well as your prayers for these ministries.
