During this time of global pandemic, we want to love our neighbors. In order to do so, Bethel is working with Salem Evangelical Free Church on Clove Road to help with Boxes of Hope.

Boxes of Hope provides resources to individuals and families affected by the coronavirus. Today (Tuesday, April 21) and Thursday, April 23, Salem is receiving donations to help stock these Boxes of Hope. If you have any of the supplies listed in the image below, please drop those off at Salem (646 Clove Road) between 10 AM & 2 PM today or Thursday.

If you cannot make these times, you can drop donations at the parsonage any time before 11 AM on Thursday and I will take them. The parsonage address is 20 Lyndale Ave (blue house behind the church).

These donations to Salem will be boxed & prepared to be delivered to those requesting assistance. Salem is working to help those in the northern half of the island. Bethel will be working to help those on the southern half of the island.

Joe & Maria Lima will coordinate between those requesting help and those from Bethel able to deliver.

If you would like to volunteer to deliver, please contact info@bethelsi.org to let us know your name, phone number, email address, and times when you may be available.

The mechanics of how deliveries will be coordinated will be a process to work out. Please be patient as Salem, Bethel, and NJ churches work to structure and coordinate.

Through everything, we want to be praying for our neighbors and showing God’s love to them as best as we are able.
