We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before the service time. Have your group meet in the parking lot so that you can enter the building together & sit together.
Yes. We have blocked off a number of pews so that socially distant seating is possible for those who desire it. Also, in keeping with the latest NY state indoor mask mandate through February 1, we ask that everyone wear a mask while in the building.
Our church leaders recognize that we have some people in our congregation who are encouraged and comforted by having these measures in place, and some who are discouraged, frustrated, and/or see no need for them. We also understanding that there are a wide variety of deeply held convictions and underlying issues connected with the current situation. We do believe there is a limit to what compromises we, as Christians, are able to make with our government officials. Presently we feel that being "required" to wear masks doesn't cross that line, and we're doing all we can to love our neighbors and to "live at peace with everyone".
Yes! While we ask that you wear your mask as we worship the Lord through song.
Yes. We celebrate communion the first Sunday of each month. We have pre-packaged, individual communion elements so you can be sure that you are the only one handing your bread and juice.
