Frequently Asked Questions

What time do I need to arrive?

We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before your service time. Have your group meet in the parking lot so that you can enter the building together & sit together.

Is there a special way to enter?

All entry will be through the front door. As you walk toward the entrance, you will see welcome mats spaced along the sidewalk. Before entering the building, you will be asked 5 questions and have your temperature taken. The 5 questions are:

In the past 14 days have you…

  1. ...had close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who has or had symptoms of COVID-19?
  2. ...tested positive for COVID-19?
  3. …experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, sore throat, fever, GI upset, shortness of breath or headache NOT related to allergies or a pre-existing condition)?
  4. …traveled to any state other than NJ-CT-PA? If yes, was it to a High Transmission (HT state)?
  5. In the past 24-48 hours have you experienced a loss of taste or smell?

Upon completion, your name will be added to our registration list required for contact tracing. To simplify the process, we encourage you to RSVP before coming, but reservations are not required.

Will there be singing?

No, we will not be singing at this time. The recommended social distance increases to 12 feet when singing. Singing has been shown to be one of the best ways of spreading germs & viruses. We will return to singing at a later date.

Will we have communion?

Not at this time. When we do have communion again, we have purchased pre-packaged communion elements and have a plan for distribution without handling the elements.
